Anyone with teenagers knows how bad acne can become. My girls have tried almost everything and nothing seemed to give them the clear skin they were looking for until we tried this. I love it's simplicity because I really believe a lot of the chemicals in those store bought treatments were making things worse not better. It's still not a cure-all. Acne still exists, but it's allowing us to see improvement and there's a whole lot less crying in the morning when they look in the mirror.
Foaming Face Wash
1/3 cup Liquid Castile Soap
2/3 cup Distilled Water
1 tsp. Sweet Almond Oil
10 drops Lavender essential oil (where to buy oils)
5 drops Frankincense essential oil
5 drops Tea Tree essential oil
10 drops Lemon essential oil
8oz foamer bottle (where to buy)
Add all ingredients to the foamer bottle. Screw on lid and shake gently to mix.
Please remember that citrus oils can cause sun sensitivity and should be used with caution when heading outdoors. We use this only at night as a precaution and have not had any problems in the sun the following day.
I used Young Living Essential Oils when I made this recipe. I love the Seed to Seal Guarantee and the process behind distilling their oils. You know that you are getting Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.
